Established in 1992, the Sherwin-Williams Training Centre is the only one of its kind in the Caribbean. It features a classroom equipped with multimedia and other learning aids, as well as preparatory area and a controlled-environment spray booth.
The centre not only caters to internal and experienced painters seeking to upgrade their skills—it is also designed to train persons wishing to pursue a career in the painting industry.
We’ve frequently offered training to painters outside of Jamaica, including those from Barbados, Trinidad and St. Lucia. In collaboration with Heart Trust NTA, our doors are also open to students interested in vocational training.
Additionally, the Sherwin-Williams Training Centre serves as an adjunct to our company’s Quality and Product Development Department, as it is here that we perform our troubleshooting and testing activities.
Our Training Centre continues to be the leading source for training in the paint industry. We are always looking for new methods and technologies that may help us to better serve our students.
